1.  Make time to inspect the floor.  Sweep up up whatever objects that could cause your vacum cleaner to back up up.  The tiny objects are okay, as long as you realize the objects are little enough to pass through the vacuum.  Lookout for for straw, ribbon, and string as it can be trapped in the vacuum hose and result in a clog.  Junk like this is also bad for the agitators, they can get entangled in the agitators and result in more troubles.

2.  Look in the vacuum bag to be certain that the bag is not full.  If the bag is full, replace it.  A full or almost full bag will reduce the suction ability of your vacuum., as the ability will be greatly weakened due to the dirt occupying a great deal of storage and limiting the air stream through the bag. 6.  Along nooks, utilise a wet cloth or a crevice tool that hooks up to your vacuum cleaner.  This gets the corners and difficult regions clean, and they will match the balance of the carpet.
